Home of the World's First White Pinotage SINCE 2007

In 2007 Dekkersvlei created a wine that had never existed before – a White Pinotage, vinified without skin contact to produce an elegant and refined expression of South Africa’s most iconic cultivar. This achievement redefined what was possible in the Cape Winelands.

White Pinotage

In 2007, Dekkersvlei Vineyards pioneered the world’s first White Pinotage from South Africa’s only indigenous grape varietal. Our White Pinotage boasts fresh aromas of white pear, peach, and citrus, following a buttery, creamy sensation.

Pinotage

Bold and beautifully balanced, offering dark berry richness, subtle spice, and gentle smoky undertones. Its smooth structure and long, satisfying finish speak to the harmony between vineyard expression and careful winemaking.

Coffee Pinotage

Rich and velvety, unfolding layers of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and ripe plum. Smooth and warming, with a plush texture and a lingering, mocha-toned finish that showcases the depth and character of the varietal.

Pinotage Rosé

Bright and elegant, with crisp red berry notes, hints of pomegranate, and a refreshing, dry finish. Delicate yet expressive, it carries a clean, mineral lift that reflects the purity of the fruit and the gentle touch in the cellar.

Méthode Cap Classique Brut Rosé

Bright and expressive, showcasing fine, persistent bubbles and delicate aromas of fresh apple, white peach, and hints of citrus zest. The palate reveals layers of red berry and stone fruit, lifted by crisp acidity and a creamy mousse.

Bespoke Brandy Collection

Dekkersvlei’s Cape Potstill brandies are made from premium Chenin Blanc grapes, double-distilled in copper pot stills and oak matured for a smooth, refined finish.

10-Year Cape Potstill Brandy

Radiant in a golden amber hue, the 10-Year expression captures the warmth and generosity of extended oak maturation. Lush ripe stone fruit leads the way, with apricots and peaches unfolding alongside gentle layers of honey and vanilla.

15-Year Cape Potstill Brandy

Burnt amber in colour, the 15-Year brandy reveals a beautifully layered aromatic profile that speaks of patience and craft. The nose opens with mocha and dark chocolate, followed by hints of red fruit and ripe berries that add lift and intrigue.

18-Year Cape Potstill Brandy

Displaying a deep amber hue, the 18-Year expression is defined by maturity and remarkable complexity. Concentrated notes of figs, apricots, and prunes intertwine with rich spices of cinnamon and clove, while toasted oak and walnut add structure.

Barrel-fermented and matured 11 months; citrus and quince with lively acidity.

Mellasat Viognier

Barrel-fermented; orange-blossom aromas with peach and apricot on the palate.

Mellasat White Pinotage

White wine from Pinotage; whole-bunch pressed; 11 months barrel-aged with lees stirring. Slightly creamy,
nutty texture with tropical fruit.
