For a more immersive experience, book Dekkersvlei’s signature “Taste the Original” wine tour – a guided 45-minute walking experience led by members of Dekkersvlei’s team, some of whom have lived and worked on the land for decades. It includes a visit to the vineyard blocks, cellar and distillery tours and a 3-wine tasting, including our signature White Pinotage. Limited to 20 guests per hour, it’s personal, authentic, and completely unique.

Cellar & Distillery Exploration
Your journey begins inside our working cellar. Guests are taken through the production spaces where Dekkersvlei’s wines are crafted, including an up-close look at our barrel maturation area. Here, you’ll gain insight into how oak, time, and technique influence flavour and structure.
Wine Anatomy & Grape Tasting
Inside the distillery, you’ll explore grape flavours at their source with guided tastings of fresh grapes – an introduction to wine’s building blocks and how varietal character develops from the fruit itself.

The tour concludes with a curated three-wine tasting selected by our winemaker.
