Description

Tasting Notes:

Crisp and refreshing, bursting with tropical fruit, gooseberry, and hints of cut grass. Zesty and lively, with a pure, mineral edge that carries through to a long finish, reflecting the land, the vine, and the craft behind every bottle.

Food Suggestions:

Perfect with fresh seafood like oysters, sushi, and herbcrusted white fish, as well as citrusy salads and soft goat’s cheese. Its bright acidity also complements lightly spiced Asian dishes and vibrant, herb-driven flavours.

Vineyard:

Sourced from the Klein Drakenstein slopes in Paarl, rooted in structured clay-granite soils that enhance depth and balance.

Harvest:

The grapes were harvested in early February during the coolest parts of the day, with a combination of earlymorning picking and selective night harvesting to retain freshness. Grapes was hand-selected to ensure only the best bunches reached the cellar. The vineyard produces a focused yield of around 8 tons per hectare.

In the Cellar:

Whole-bunch pressed and fermented at cool temperatures to retain purity and aromatic lift. Matured with no oak
influence, the wine remained crisp and vibrant, with finelees ageing contributing subtle texture and a clean, mineral finish.
